In February 2024, Fake TAG Heuer and Porsche entered into one of the strongest collaborations ever between a car manufacturer and a watch manufacturer. After five successful timepieces that have delighted fans of both brands, they now present their sixth creation: the new TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph x Porsche Orange Racing, a model that underlines both brands’ unwavering passion for racing.

TAG Heuer and Porsche share a rich history, an independent, dynamic mentality and a commitment to design excellence. Their paths have been meeting and crossing on and off the racetrack for around 70 years. The solid, lasting connection between TAG Heuer and Porsche is based not least on their shared beginnings in motorsport, with one of the most obvious similarities being undoubtedly the name Carrera itself. The Carrera Panamericana is legendary and considered one of the most dangerous races in the world. She inspired both Porsche, which won its first class victory at the Carrera Panamericana in 1954 and named its most powerful model after her, and Jack Heuer, who found out about the race with the auspicious name from the Rodriguez brothers in 1962 in Sebring (Florida/USA). then decided to name his new chronograph from 1963 after it.
The Porsche 911 Carrera and the TAG Heuer Carrera have since become icons, recently celebrated in Paris to mark the 50th anniversary of the Porsche Carrera 911 RS 2.7.
Against the background of various memorable successes and with pride in such a fruitful partnership, it seemed only logical to develop a new special edition of the TAG Heuer Carrera chronograph as a perfect symbol of the shared racing heritage.

The TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph x Porsche Orange Racing is based on the famous TAG Heuer Carrera Sport Chronograph and follows the TAG Heuer Carrera x Porsche Limited Edition. It maintains the quality and performance of the in-house Caliber Heuer 02, a movement entirely manufactured at TAG Heuer’s factory in Chevenez and consisting of 168 parts, including a column wheel and a vertical clutch. These features enable exceptional chronometric performance with an impressive 80-hour power reserve.
The design of the TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph x Porsche Orange Racing corresponds to the unmistakable Porsche aesthetic, but above all to the racing world as a whole. The bright orange is found throughout the watch, inspired by the color of the heat sparks the car creates on the asphalt. It is also a reference to the color of fire, a symbol of speed. This orange color can be found in the Porsche logo on the bezel as well as on the lacquer of the crown and the graphic details with azure counters and an orange second hand, which appear as small accents on the dial.
Another key color of this special edition is black, which elegantly highlights the brightness of the orange through the contrast. To achieve this harmonious surface with tasteful color accents, the designers at TAG Heuer used black in various textures and finishes.
The case has been treated with the highest quality black coating imaginable: diamond-like carbon (DLC), which is characterized by an extremely deep, elegant color and unsurpassed durability. The refinement of the black dial is all about dynamism and speed.
A legacy of the TAG Heuer Carrera x Porsche 2021 and 2022 is the individually designed flywheel, which pays homage to the Porsche steering wheel. Visible through the sapphire crystal caseback, the oscillating weight is labeled “Porsche” and “TAG Heuer” and, like the column wheel, features black and orange accents, harmoniously bringing the design of this new watch together.
The timepiece’s carbon-like calfskin strap – in black to emphasize the bright orange – perfectly rounds off the overall racing look of the TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph x Porsche Orange Racing. The stitching is a subtle nod to the seat covers of Porsche vehicles, with the dramatic contrast of the orange stitching and lining hinting at the racing marks left by the cars at high speed.
